Zouberhüüsli, Chegele und Regenwald - magical house, conkers and rainforest

Unser neues "Zouberhüüsli" (Zauberhaus) entsteht. Ich werde sicher zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt mehr dazu schreiben.

Gestern haben wir endlich Eicheln gefunden (unsere Eichen hier tragen dieses Jahr einfach keine Eicheln). I hatte grossen Spass an der Fühlbox voller Chegele (Rosskastanien) und Eicheln.
Yesterday we finally found some acorns (our oaks here don't have acorns this year). I had a lot of fun with the sensory box full of conkers and acorns.

Am Nachmittag sind wir in den Tierpark gegangen und haben unser neues Zwischenthema "Regenwald" begonnen. Erst haben wir Verbindungen zu unserem Hauptthema gallo-römische Zeit/Frühmittelalter gesucht (die Vorstellung wie die Erde aussieht war damals ganz anders, Holz war wichtig, Rodung, ...), dann haben wir über die Vegetation und über die Tiere des Regenwaldes gesprochen und diese Merkmale im Tierpark gesucht, z.B. Pflanzen die auf Bäumen wachsen, etc. Und wir haben natürlich die Tiere beobachtet.
In the afternoon we went to the animal park and started our new intermidiate theme "rainforest". First we talked about the links to our main theme gallo-roman period/early Middle Ages (e.g. how different the representation of the world was, how wood was important then and still is now, about wood clearing, ...), then we talked about the different features of a rainforest and looked for those properties, e.g. plants that grow on trees, etc. And of course we watched the animals.

Die Äffchen sind sehr unternehmungslustig.
The monkey are very active.

Die "Nichtregenwaldtiere" haben selbstverständlich nicht verschmäht.
Of course we had also a look at the "non rainforest" animals.
