Neunzehn, Nüünzää, dix-neuf, nineteen, diciannove, diecinueve

Am 19. Dezember haben wir uns mit der 19 beschäftigt.

On December 19th we looked at number 19.

19 Steine
19 Stones

T. estimates the stones in a box by counting how many stones fit in a handful and then counting the handfuls and multiplying the whole. T. estimates there are 210 stones. Then he counts them: 217. Not bad!!

Today it was S.'s turn to lead the Advent calendar treasure hunt. Her job was to photography 19 times a 19. Here are a few of her pictures:

The door number 19 opens and the children find the surprise in the Cave of Wonders.

S. reads the notice telling the surprise: we'll decorate the Christmas tree for the Coffee Shop.

Und anschliessend spielen im Christmas Coffee Shop, Menupläne erstellen, Preise berechnen, zahlen, korrektes Rückgeld herausgeben.

Afterwards the children play in the Christmas Coffee Shop: making menu plans, calculating prices, paying, giving back the correct amount of money.

There is also a small Christmasy shop.
