Regenbogen, Regenbogenschlange, Farbe Gelb, Bronzeguss - Rainbow, the Rainbow Serpent, colour yellow, bronze casting

Regenbögen
Rainbows

I read the story of the Rainbow Serpent to the children. Afterwards the retold the story in self-made booklets.

Long long ago the sky was dark without stars, moon nor sun and the earth was sleeping. There was only the salt water and Ungud, the Rainbow Serpent, which lived in it. Ungud had a boomerang.

One day Ungud waked mother sun up and light flooded over the world.

Ungud threw the boomerang and wherever it hit the water land appeared.

Ungud climbed out of the water and laid eggs. Dream creatures hatched. The put up the stars and the moon, they created the landscapes and the animals and finally the humans.

The dream creatures wandered singing and giving its name to each tree, animal and mountain. That's the time the Aborigines call Dreamtime. The Rainbow Serpent rolled itself together and became Uluru.

We listened to Australian music and looked at a book about Australia. And we played Didgeridoo.

Eine andere Regenbogengeschichte gibt es heute auch.

We also read another rainbow story book.

Rainbows are half circles and so it led us to the letter Aa. In S's letter booklet, that I. wants to do to of course, they compare the letter A to an ant hill and encourage also to draw ant eggs.
