Weiter ging es mit der Geographie Italiens.
Hingegen ging die Zwergengeschichte heute nicht weiter, da wir Handwerker im Haus hatten. Aber geübt haben wir trotzdem.

And couldn't go on with our math gnome story because we had builders in the house. But we took some time to practise different math concepts.
Zum Beispiel Üben der Dreierreihe beim Balancieren. Bei jeder Dreierzahl die Hände hochhalten.
For example exercising the 3 times table while balancing. At every 3 times number we hold our hand high.
Oder auf dem Spielplatz üben: 1 rauf, 1 runter, 1, 2 rauf, 2, 1, runter etc.
Oder practising at the play ground: 1 up, 1 down, 1, 2, up, 2, 1 down, etc.
Oder ein Additions-Würfelspiel: 1 Zahl würfeln und die gleiche Anzahl Vierecke auf dem Blatt anmalen, 2. Zahl würfen, Vierecke anmalen und alle zusammenzählen.
Or an addition dice game. Throw the dice for the first number and colour the corresponding number of squares. Throw the dice for the second number and colour the corresponding number of squares. Add all the squares.
Natürlich verfolgen wir die Arbeiten im Haus. Auch da kann man viel lernen. Die Kinder haben viel gefragt, mit den Handwerkern gesprochen und mitgeholfen. Ein sehr lehrreicher Tag, wo wieder ein neuer Beruf entdeckt wurde.
Of course we had a good look at the work done in our house. The children asked a lot, spoke with the builders and helped. An informative day discovering yet another job.
