Die Mathepoche, die wir letzten Freitag abgeschlossen haben hiess für I. "Auf nach Arithmetika" und für S. "weitere Abenteuer in Arithmetika". Darin ging es um Multiplikation und Division, Addition und Subtraktion in allen Formen und Arten, durch viele Geschichte und Beispiele belebt. Hier einige Eindrücke.
We finished our maths main lessons block last Friday. I. and S. discovered different stories and concepts of multiplication, division, addition and subtraction. Here are a few impressions.
In unserer Geschichte findet Mul (ein kleines Mädchen in unserer Geschichte, steht natürlich für Multiplikation) spezielle Multiplikationsstäbe mit denen sie magisch alles verdoppeln (2x klicken), verdreifachen (3x klicken), etc. kann.
In our story Mul – a little girl which of course stands for multiplication – gets special multiplication sticks which allows her to magically double (2 clicks) everything (3 clicks = 3x, 4 clicks 4x etc.)
Irgendwie habe ich S.s Heft nicht sehr oft fotografiert, aber bei ihr ging es um Wiederholungen und Vertiefungen bekannter Konzepte, Multiplikation und Division grosser Zahlen, etc. Wie z.B. auf dem oberen und auf dem unteren Bild.
It seems I didn’t take many pictures of S.s main lessons book, but the goal for her was to review many concepts and intensify the study of multiplication, division, addition and subtraction with larger numbers. You see one example above and one below.

In der Geschichte findet Divi (der Junge, der für die Division in unserer Geschichte steht) ein spezielles Schwert (= das Zeichen für die Division).

I. spielt eine Mathgeschichte in der es darum geht eine bestimmte Anzahl Tiere über einen Fluss zu bringen, es passen jedoch nie alle Tiere aus Mal in das Boot.
I. Is playing a maths story, she has to help animals get over a river by using a boat.
Für das Zeichen der Addition backen wir spezielle Kreuzbrötchen.

Zum Schluss gestaltet I. ein Spiel nachdem ich Dornröschen erzählt habe und wir üben alle Multiplikation, Division, Addition und Subtraktion durchmischt. Und Mul, Divi, Minus und Addi entdecken, dass sie Geschwister sind und alle aus Arithmetika stammen.
To finish off the main lessons block I. made a board game after I told the story of Briar Rose and we practises multiplication, division, addition and subtraction all mixed up. And finally Mul, Divi, Minus and Addi found out that they are brothers and sisters and all native of the land of Arithmetica.
